After her delightful morning of snorkeling, Olive padded back up to the room she shared with Victor -- which, by the way, was both sort of awesome and a little scary. Not because of anything he'd done or said, but...well. Her issues. Though, really, the more time she spent with him, the more those issues felt like excuses she was making to herself.
Because seriously, it wasn't like she didn't want to. But it was...scary. Shut up.
But the awesomeness outweighed the scary, anyway. Case in point: when Olive, bikini'd and sarong'd and fresh from the bay wandered in and found Victor right there, all conveniently. "I totally just went snorkeling for the first time and a little fish swam headfirst into my mask and then swam off again," she greeted him excitably. "It was pretty nifty."
